First Day

Addison

I received Addison for fostering October 7th. When I got her home I took her for a nice long walk before introducing her to the house. From there I let her inspect the main part of the house while I put together the crate and then fed her. It's hard for me to keep her attention and she does not seem super interested in training treats so this could make things difficult. I'm going to need to be strict with her since she is not house broken. I will set a strict schedule for her with a walk and feeding in the morning and evening along with a few runs in place of walks during the week. The runs should help with her hound energy levels and some of the skittishness she seems to have with loud noises and vehicles. She is also shy and has little confidence (tail between legs) when people are around so I will want to introduce her to as many people and stable dogs as possible.
